8 Days Beijing/ Chengde/ Tianjin Tour! (17 to 25)
Day 1
It was the midnight flight! One word to say-Tired! I think I wont take the midnight flight again! We were given 2 sets of meals, turkey sandwich n fish plate, in the airplane instead of 1 meal! The stewardess kept disturbing us when they are serving the food... n I cant get to sleep! As I cant get to sleep, I continue to play the game n listen to the music! At most, I only get to take a 1 hr plus nap plus I was awaked by the sudden coldness as I'm not wearing any jacket and I'm sitting at e window sit and I went to the toliet to change my pants n add in another pants! The temperature outside the plane was -55 to -60°C. Finally we reached shoudu Airport! We went to the toilet to change to our thick clothings as it was reported in the plane that ground temperature was -7°C. The tour leader was waiting for us at the arrival hall and the moment I step out of the airport, I'm puffing out smoke =D
Went for another round of breakfast of some porridge with you tiao etc ...
The food was not nice... porridge was cold n other food was either too oily or too salty!
After that...
we went to tour the Daguanyuan(Grand View Garden)

went back to rest at the Capital Hotel to recharge ourselves...
NIGHT time...proceed to watch Aerobatic Show ...super duper nice! They really did a v v gd job!

Day 2
Morning call at 6.30am. Have buffet style breakfast in the hotel and we went to visit Tiananmen Square. The Tiananmen Tower, Monument to the People's Heroes, Great Hall for the People and Mao Zedong Memorial Hall are the main sites on the Square, next, we proceed to the Forbbiden City to become emperors =X as it was also known as Imperial Palace, once the home for emperors.

Went to have our lunch.. the famous Beijing Roasted Duck which I had tasted twice! =P
It was not eaten lye this... it was wif popiah skin n cucumber n a special sauce
Went to visit the Temple of Heaven(Ling Xing gate). Those white architecture is made from white marble.

Night time... the Gong Fu Show!!!
and it is not nice 1... not worth the price of 250 rmb for that kind of show.. only a few scene of nice gong fu, the rest is abt the story of a kid called Chun yi.
Day 3
Went to the place where jade is made and went to climb the Great Wall of China to be a "Hao han", and i climb until my whole body liu han... it was very high and steep with those steps not evenly build, and it is so cold and windy...

Only man are taught how to craft on it as these kind of skills is not passed to women in the past

Went to have lunch at a restaurant located above the vase factory, the food there is really v bad ... I cant take it...

Day4
Visit Tongrentang , a famous China traditional medicine shop with a-hundred-year history. Then we went to the place where pearls' produced and later the place where kids loves the most.. Happy Valley.. so sad i only play a few of the games even though thre is 6 theme zone because we reach there at ard 4 and as it is very cold, all the station is closing at 4.30pm.. but its still a very nice place.. watch the Golden Mask Dynasty at night and it was not bad =X

Day 5-6
went to visit De Sheng Men to touch "pi xiu" . I was told that whenever anyone who is going for war or going for olympic will go there n touch it as it brings good luck. Then we proceed to watch the old beijing shows, learning some of the old beijing culture, history and lifestyles. We cont our journal to ChengDe which is a 4 hour plus bus ride after touching the good luck "pi xiu".

Dad n grp 1 family's dad was choosen to pull e string which was tried at his neck to let the old man spit out the pearl which he had swallow using qi gong!

Day 7
The trip to Tian jin is very hazy... as u can see.. the only famous things there is ma hua and you yu si.. and the Cultural Street there

Ma Hua! It's oily!!! so we didnt bought it!
At the cultural street...
we took 1 hour plus to reach Tian jin and
the trip back from Tian jin took us 4 hour plus because of the bad trafic.. Zzz
Day 8
Went to xiu shui jie to walk walk n eat lunch n board the plane to SINGAPORE!

Thats almost it.. =) its a nice trip afterall except that the food there sux =P the fastfood there is cheap and i heard that their KFC there is cheap but very nice.. i haven got to try =( maybe u can do so on your visit there =)

saihah, jazreel, justina and I...(erm... I forget still gt who... so sry) plan a pri sch bbq... Actually we had already contract mdm haslina to come but In the end... she gt something on n cant attend the bbq...mdm asma too!
